THE STORY OF UGG
In the late 1970s, Australian accounting student and surfer Brian Smith was inspired by a Pink Floyd song to leave his corporate career path and move to California. There, he discovered the vibrant surf scene and noticed that surfers didn’t use sheepskin boots to warm up after chilly sessions, as they did in Australia. That’s when the idea for UGG was born.
Determined and daring, Brian designed a sheepskin boot that was bold, comfortable, and unlike anything else on the market. After being rejected by more than 150 stores, he began selling directly from his van at Malibu Point. Word spread, and demand quickly grew.
Within a decade, UGG was everywhere, from the beaches of Southern California to Hollywood red carpets. Truly loved for its unique comfort and statement style.
Brian’s adventurous, free-spirited vision lives on in everything we do. UGG remains rooted in bold creativity, craftsmanship, and a California state of mind.
Selected Brands Nordic AB holds the distribution rights for UGG in the Nordic market as well as in the Baltics. We are now looking for you who want to be part of the journey to strengthen and develop UGG’s position in the market as:

About the role
As Account Manager for UGG - Sweden, you will have a key role where you actively drive the brand’s sales and position in the market. Your mission is to develop UGG’s distribution by building, maintaining, and developing relationships with both new and existing customers within the footwear, sport/lifestyle, and fashion industries in the market. You work actively in the field and ensure an effective and unified sales plan that moves UGG forward with your Swedish customers. You work in close dialogue with our Sales Manager, continuously sharing insights, opportunities, and initiatives that drive the brand to the next level.
Your main areas of responsibility
Responsibility for the development of UGG accounts in the Swedish market (shoe stores, sport/lifestyle stores, department stores, multibrand stores, online, and specialty stores)
Responsible for achieving budget targets per season and year
Continuous follow-up of your customers’ sell-through and, based on this, creating various actions linked to results
Responsible for seasonal sales (pre-order) twice per year to your customers in Sweden
Maintain and nurture close relationships with your customers
Drive replenishment orders and in-season sales
Act as support for in-store sell-through – plan and activate activities, events, and staff training
Responsible for and participate in trade fairs, collection showings, and industry events

You are passionate about sales, brand building, and contributing to UGG’s growth in the Swedish market. Furthermore, you are operationally oriented and love selling to your customers and can be an inspiring force in creating the best possible sales performance in-store. In addition, you are comfortable in international environments, can strongly identify with our brands, and are a strong ambassador for our company – and you have an industry network and are motivated by the idea of further building strong concepts with great potential.

We are looking for you who have
At least 2–3 years of experience in sales to retailers within the sport, footwear, or fashion industry
A valid B driver’s license
Documented sales experience and the ability to listen to and understand customers’ needs
Experience of owning your own key customer responsibility
Post-secondary education is highly meritorious
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Strong computer skills – especially in MS Excel, CRM systems, and PowerPoint or similar programs
Confidence in holding presentations and building trust with customers
