ART DIRECTOR – CRAFT

As an Art Director at Craft, you will be a key member of our international marketing team. You will be responsible for developing visual concepts, campaigns, and marketing materials where craftsmanship, detail, and quality are at the core. The role involves overseeing visual execution throughout the entire creative process – from idea and concept to final production – in close collaboration with colleagues at Craft as well as external partners.

You will work both strategically and hands-on, maintaining continuous dialogue with local marketing teams in Craft’s priority markets. A crucial part of the role is ensuring high quality and a consistent visual expression across both print and digital communication, with a strong emphasis on print production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CRAFT’s visual identity through strong art direction and well-crafted design solutions.

• Create creative campaign concepts for Retail in close collaboration with the creative team and external partners.

• Plan, lead, and produce marketing materials for campaigns, key products, and brand-building initiatives within Retail.

• Ensure high and consistent quality across all marketing materials, with a clear focus on printed materials such as catalogs, POS, packaging, and retail communication – alongside digital touchpoints.

• Work hands-on with layout, imagery, typography, and final artwork, with a solid understanding of print production and processes.

• Guide and collaborate with junior designers and art directors to ensure all communication is on-brand and of high quality.

• Work closely with the e-commerce team to create a cohesive visual customer journey from brand awareness to purchase within Retail.

• Collaborate with copywriters, project managers, and other creatives to ensure strong, consistent storytelling.

• Manage production and delivery of marketing materials for global and local markets.

• Participate in and contribute to creative workshops and brainstorming sessions.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in art direction, a strong visual eye, and the ability to drive creative projects from idea to final delivery. You have at least 3 years of experience as an Art Director, with proven experience in print production and working with physical materials. An interest in sports, running, and/or fashion is a plus.
